Colombian situation regards to English.

The present-day situation in our country with regard to English teaching, I think it's necessary to agree a kind of method that follows the parameters related to the Common European Framework.

Each teacher can use an eclectic way and selecting a variety of approaches, methods or techniques into their classroom procedures which they are most appropiated but always pointing to the same goal.

About the postmethod condition, I think that L2 teachers, through their experience, they can construct their own theory of practice and methodology. This classroom experience and experimentation help to the construction of a pedagogic framework.

My unforgettable teacher.

The teacher who I learned so much is from the University of Valle. Her name is Beatriz and I remember her with affection. She was one of my French teacher but the best. She is from Colombia but she is a person who knew how to transmit her knowledge with love and care. She showed the way how to get the students involve in the classwork, how to understand the student's problems and how to be a very good professional. She always was attentive to our questions or interest. I learned from her the organization of a class, the punctuality and responsability in our work.

Babies learning two languages at the same time.

According to the text "Early English popular in Shanghai", I think the best time to learn English as a second language is when babies are three years old because they begin to explore their tongue and they also have a very good imput at that age. Indeed, babies at six months of age, can identify sounds, recognize accent patterns and facial expressions from foreign languages but first, they need to reinforce their mother tongue.
I think babies learning two languages at the same time may cause confusion because they have to choose one language over another.
